Special Care Preschool is committed to providing an enriched educational experience that allows children to discover their unique abilities in an environment that fosters creativity, exploration and learning. We aim to build a strong foundation for future education and success through a careful balance of teacher-guided and child-directed activities.
Introducing our new director: Amanda Thomas.
I am passionate about providing quality care for children by creating a safe environment for them to thrive socially and emotionally in.
My goal is to develop well-rounded children to make the world a better place. Leaving it better than it is now. I have been in childcare since I turned 16 years old. I got alternative compliance to be able to be in a classroom teaching children. I have obtained a lot of training as well as my CDA. My fifteen years in the field of early childhood education have taught me a lot. I have learned that I have a passion for creating healthy, safe, inviting environments for children to develop by mentoring/coaching teachers through things in their classrooms. You will see me in classrooms interacting with children and teachers alike. I LOVE being in the classrooms helping. I am excited to be the director and watch the children and teachers grow over time at Special Care Preschool.
